We moved into South on Main in Woodstock in early June 2023. One of the major selling point was the backyard. Unfortunately, after moving in, and after the first rain, we realized it was a giant mud pit! We decided to hardscape a large part of the yard, and to cover a plain white slab with pavers. We called 3 local landscapers, and the first two were incredibly underprepared. They had no imagination, no ideas about how to fix our problem. Stuart arrived and I knew immediately he was professional, competent and would do a great job. He listened, took copious notes, and came back with a professional plan. Overall the job cost us $14,000 and the result has been fantastic. He was absolutely great to work with, his team is amazing ...AND we are thrilled with our new patio. I'm happy to be a reference to anyone seeking to know more about Stuart and his company. Even better...he offered a 2 year warranty should anything go wrong...he'll come out and make it right. How many others are willing to stand by their work like that!!!
UPDATE 8/30 - A few days after the work was completed, a strange brown color showed up on the grout in a few areas on the patio. I shared pictures with Stuart and neither of us could figure out what it was. He suggested concrete cleaner but that didn't work. True to his word, Stuart showed up last weekend with his crew, and they used a wire brush to get it out. It wasn't a big deal, but I'm so impressed by how quickly he came back to make sure I was completely satisfied. He is incredibly proud of his work and means it when he says he stands by the quality of his work. I continue to be available if anyone needs a more detailed reference.

I have used Glasscapes twice in the last 6 months. Once to tackle a steep hill that spans my backyard (planted approx. 200 plants and buried drainage to eliminate erosion) and secondly to remove and replace all landscaping in my front yard. Stuart is a pleasure to deal with, extremely knowledgeable, and stands behind his work. Several plants died to the extreme freeze earlier this year and Stuart replaced them although he was under no obligation to do so. This speaks volumes to his character and his attentiveness to outstanding customer service. I highly recommend his services.

Great landscape recommendations, excellent work, fair price. Glasscapes replaced non-growing grass in the backyard with a flagstone terrace resulting in a functional space. Also a stone step path corrected a muddy side yard walkway with a drainage problem.

I called and spoke with Stuart Glass about putting in some stone steps from our side yard down to the backyard. Stuart came over to the house and was very professional. He marked off where the steps should be installed and then walked me through some ideas about the types of stone and wood. I few days later I received a quote with four options. Everything was spelled out in the quote and easy to read. I chose option 3 with sandstone.
Stuart ordered the stone and other items and communicated with me from the start of the project. The material was delivered and his team came out that day and started the work. The project took a week and we were updated the entire time. The steps down to the backyard exceeded our expectations.
We are very happy with the work performed and the price we paid. I will work with Stuart in the future for all my landscaping needs.
